Putting climbing within reach for city teens.

Cole Kennedy, a 2022 graduate of Turpin High School, loved climbing, hiking, kayaking and hanging out with friends – things we all share a passion for at Adventure Crew. Led by his family, donations to the Cole Kennedy Memorial Climbing Fund provide scholarships for Adventure Crew teens to join the Foundations Team at Climb Time, giving them unlimited access to the gym, rental gear, and regular instruction. Funds will also support the expansion of introductory climbing sessions for our teens so even more young people can experience the confidence, community, and resilience that climbing inspires.

Adventure Crew connects city teens in Greater Cincinnati with nature and each other through outdoor adventures. Founded in 2013, the nonprofit now serves students age 12-18 across all Cincinnati Public Schools high schools, select CPS middle and elementary schools, and six schools in Northern Kentucky – a total of 34 schools and nearly 1,000 students per year. Through challenging monthly adventures, city teens develop the courageous spirit to step out of their comfort zone and discover new worlds – outside in nature and inside themselves. This deep connection to nature will set a positive course for their lives – and help create the next generation of environmental stewards. For more information, visit www.adventurecrew.org.
