The Bill Keating, Jr. Great Ohio River Swim has been cancelled for 2020, but Caroline Keating, daughter of the event’s namesake, has pledged to carry on the spirit of the Swim by taking on a personal fundraising swim in August.
All funds raised through Caroline's swim will benefit Adventure Crew, coordinator of the Great Ohio River Swim, and help recoup the loss of funds from this year's canceled event. Funds raised help us take students from 24 Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky schools kayaking, biking, hiking and swimming, among other activities.

Caroline's goal is to raise $5,000 for Adventure Crew and swim 5K -- but she can only reach it with your support. Your contribution determines how far Caroline will swim.
- For 20 donors or $1,000 raised, Caroline will swim 0.6 miles, the Great Ohio River Swim distance
- For 50 donors or $3,000 raised, Caroline will swim 1.5 miles
- At her ultimate goal, $5,000 or 100 donors, Caroline will swim 5K
